Dash, formerly known as Dark Coin, is a technical improvement based on Bitcoin. It has good anonymity and decentralization. It is the first digital currency to protect privacy. DASH released a white paper in 2014 with an algorithm of X11, with a total of 18.9 million.
DASH can be mined through ASIC miners, such as antminer D5, StrongU U6. INNOSILICON A5, INNOSILICON A5+, etc.
1. Obtain suitable hardware
- ✅ DASH can be efficiently mined with ASIC mining machines.
- ❌ DASH cannot be efficiently mined with CPU or GPU cards.
View our Miners page to discover the most profitable ASIC mining machines for DASH.
2. Obtain wallet address
A DASH wallet address is required for you to receive and monitor your mining revenue.
Mining revenue is distributed daily to every user that reaches the payout threshold. The payout threshold is 0.1 DASH and details about payout method, fees and threshold can be found here.
3. Configure your mining device
Your miner must be connected to the F2Pool pool server listed below, and you must use a wallet address that can receive DASH for your revenue to be recorded and monitored.
Please enter the following information on your mining device:
- URL: stratum+tcp://dash.f2pool.com:5588
- Username: walletAddress.workerName
- Password: *anything*
Please note: workerName is optional, however, we recommend connecting each mining device with a separate workerName for efficient monitoring.
4. Start mining!
Your machines are ready to starting mining. From “Address Search” on the F2Pool homepage, you can insert your wallet address and monitor your hashrate, revenue, and payouts. You can also view the information through our F2Pool App. From the login screen, select “Quick View” in the bottom right corner and enter your wallet address.
