About IMG (ImageCoin)
The IMG project can convert any image into a digital form and store it on a blockchain so that specific images can be searched. IMG is the hard fork from DASH, which has the same mining algorithm—X11, miners can use the same machine for mining, such as antminer D3, D5, FusionSilicon X7, StrongU U6, INNOSILICON A5, A5+ and so on.
1. Obtain suitable hardware
- ✅ IMG can be efficiently mined with ASIC mining machines.
- ❌ IMG cannot be efficiently mined with CPU or GPU cards.
View our Miners page to discover the most profitable ASIC machines for IMG.
2. Obtain wallet address
A IMG wallet address is required for you to receive and monitor your mining revenue.
Mining revenue is distributed daily to every user that reaches the payout threshold. The payout threshold is 20 IMG and details about payout method, fees and threshold can be found here.
3. Configure your mining device
Your miner must be connected to the F2Pool pool server listed below, and you must use a wallet address that can receive IMG for your revenue to be recorded and monitored.
Please enter the following information on your mining device:
- URL: stratum+tcp://img.f2pool.com:4400
- Username: walletAddress.workerName
- Password: *anything*
Please note: workerName is optional, however, we recommend connecting each mining device with a separate workerName for efficient monitoring.
5. Start mining!
Your machines are ready to start mining. From “Address Search” on the F2Pool homepage, you can insert your wallet address and monitor your hashrate, revenue, and payouts. You can also view the information through our F2Pool App. From the login screen, select “Quick View” in the bottom right corner and enter your wallet address.
