SERO (Super Zero) Mining Tutorial

SERO is the world’s first privacy coin Protocol supporting smart contract using Zero-Knowledge Proof. SERO is also the world’s first Privacy Protection platform which allows developers to issue privacy coins and use them in DApps, that means DApps can have Privacy features.

Part 1 — Mining Equipment And Environment

Algorithm: ProgPow.

Support: GPU mining (Mainstream Nvidia card and AMD card, which requires the card memory not less than 1.5GB).

Mining software:

minerOS (N card & A card)

Easy miner (N card & A card)

SEROMiner (N card & A card)

Part 2 — Obtain SERO Wallet Address

Please note: Regulatory policies related to cryptocurrency mining differ in each country, and each miner is responsible to understand the associated risks.

Part 3 — Obtain the mining software

F2Pool Version

F2Pool has helped miners to set up the batch file. The default pool is F2Pool. Miners can conveniently just change the wallet address in your installed software, then save the file and start mining.

Original Version

MinerOS: Miner OS is a GPU miner management system based on Linux, supporting cloud batch to manage miners. The system ROM supports U disk and diskless installation, and built-in third-party original mining softwares such as Claymore, Bminer, ccminer and EWBF.

Easy miner: Support over 60 cryptocurrencies, switch mining pool, cryptocurrency and wallet in one-click; upgrade kernel, install software and driver in one-click; one-click overclocking.

SEROMiner (N card & A card):

Part 4 — Miner Configuration

4.1 MinerOS

For miners who is the first time using minerOs, please consider the tutorial first in:

Create the SERO mining page, choose “F2Pool” and input your SERO wallet address.

4.2 Easy miner

Obtain the software, install and start it, and go to the configuration page.

Worker name: A name given to your miner and for distinguishing, which can be numbers or letters;

Coin: Choose “SERO”;

Wallet address: Input your wallet address to receive the mining revenue;

Pool: Choose “F2Pool”.

After the information is verified, click on the “Start Mining” button in the upper right corner to start mining.

4.3 SEROminer

Download and unzip the software in the “start” file, as below:

Right click on the “start” file, choose “Edit”, and configure the parameters as below:

N card:

serominer-cuda.exe -P stratum1+tcp:// -U

A card:

serominer-opencl.exe -P stratum1+tcp:// -G

If using F2Pool version software, miners only need to replace the wallet address and the worker name (a name given to your mining machine, which can be letters or numbers and separated by a dot “.”), then save the file and start mining. If using the original one, it is needed to create a batch file yourself by referring to the above command.

Part 5— Monitoring mining machine status and revenue

To view the operational status and daily income of the mining machine, you can access the f2pool official website, click on the search bar in the upper right corner, and enter the wallet address to check.

You can also view the information through our f2pool app. From the login screen, select “Quick View” in the bottom right corner and enter your wallet address.

Please note: After you set up your miner, it may take a little time before your mining data will sync with the f2pool website and app.
